This prison is located in the heart of Mbarara city with a population of more than 2000 prisoners both males and females. We requested a permission to always visit the prison last year and it was granted this month to always visit it once, the first Wednesday of the month. We began with the visit in the Holy week with some gifts to the prisoners and 20 bibles. We look forward to more visits.

We prayed with both cases and offered adequate counselling. We pray their cases are resolved.

CHURCH BASED TRAINING IN BIBLICAL STUDIES (C-TBS)

The New Testament class at God’s Center of Blessings Church Bweyogerere is now studying the gospel Mark. Looking at their work when grading, the whole bunch this time have learnt to be more independent and better in their research. And listening to their testimonies, some are already teaching, preaching to their church congregations from the very books that we are studying which is also encouraging.

The old Testament class at Mukono is now studying the book of Leviticus. The pastors in the class have continued to utilize what they are learning and most of them are teaching, and preaching to their congregations from the very same book we are studying. They have also found this to be very helpful on top of making their ministry work easier.

We are very grateful to the Lord for the opportunities he has given to us as CMM and C-TBS staff especially for being able to reach-out to lives, churches, communities, prisons, schools with the word of God.

We always thank God for you our friends and partners for continuously praying with us , encouraging and supporting us and the CMM work in Uganda.

God bless.

CMM TEAM.
