Dear friends and fellow labourers in Christ,
As Christian Model Ministries (CMM), we thank the Lord for all He has accomplished through us in April.
Below are some key highlights of the activities and developments within CMM during this period.
1. PRISON MINISTRY
CMM visited several prisons and won souls to Jesus Christ. We visited the following prisons, and below are the highlights:
a). Mbarara Main Prison
We visited the mentioned prison three times this month and ministered the gospel of love. A total of 194 inmates received in-depth teaching from the Word of God. After the Bible study sessions, we awarded certificates to those who had completed the Bible study program.
Christian Model Ministries (CMM) also provided each of the 194 prisoners with a personal Bible. Following this, numerous testimonies began to emerge, including experiences of inner healing, forgiveness, reconciliation with family members, spiritual growth, and renewed faith in God.
The prison administration expressed deep gratitude for the support we have extended to them. We also committed to providing sweater sewing machines as part of our continued assistance.
Please note that we barely have pictures for the ministry work in prisons because we were not allowed to take any pictures from most prisons.
b). Mbarara Women Prison
The ministry in the women’s prison was established to support spiritual growth and provide vocational skill development. The goal is to equip the women with practical skills that will benefit them both during their time in prison and after their release.
c). Isingiro Prison
Isingiro Prison was visited twice this month and is progressing well after receiving five sewing machines. A total of 245 Bibles were distributed, including 200 Gideon New Testament Bibles, 25 English Bibles, and 20 Runyankole–Rukiga Bibles.
d). Nyabirongo Prison Station
At this prison in Kasese, 127 inmates were ministered to, and approximately 112 gave their lives to Jesus Christ. Three books in the Lunande/Lukonzo language were donated to the prison.
Please note: Nyabirongo Prison Station now has an established church, which Pastor Richard Byamugisha is scheduled to open officially.
2. MEN’S MINISTRY
Mbarara District has experienced a significant outpouring of the Holy Spirit among men, leading to steady growth in the men’s ministry. Weekly fellowships have been consistently maintained, primarily in homes, and the ministry has now been successfully extended to two additional churches.
3. MISSION WORK
In partnership with Karugangama Church, the gospel was preached throughout Mbarara. A total of 25 missionaries were trained and sent into the field alongside our team. The outreach covered various locations, including schools, hospitals, markets, shops, bars, homes, quarries, and bodaboda stages.
Kind note: Approximately 117 individuals gave their lives to Christ during this mission. Discipleship efforts are ongoing, and Bibles are being provided to support their spiritual growth.
In Kasese, the group of Muslim Background Believers (MBB), now referred to as New Creatures, holds regular fellowship every Thursday, with participation from both men and women. During these gatherings, the following activities are carried out:
- Discussing how to live a transformed life
- Praying for one another
- Strategising and praying for evangelism efforts aimed at reaching the Muslim community with the message of Christ.
- Planning to cultivate a culture of saving.
Below are some of the outreach areas that CMM visited and led many to Jesus Christ.
4. CHILDREN’S MINISTRY
Regular meetings have continued at Karugangama, where children are actively learning and growing in their faith. Prayer and support efforts remain ongoing to nurture the children’s spiritual development.
Below are pictures of Junior and the children with whom CMM gave Bibles and prayed.
5. YOUTH MINISTRY
CMM conducted youth fellowships across multiple churches, fostering spiritual growth and engagement. A “Saving Project” was launched to promote financial responsibility among the youth. Additionally, a football match and an evangelism outreach through football were organised as part of community engagement efforts.
These initiatives are instrumental in building a strong sense of community and deepening the faith of young people.
Below are some of the pictures showing youths during fellowships.
6. CHARITY
Food assistance was provided to 30 vulnerable families in Mbarara. The beneficiaries included widows, orphans, single mothers, the poor, and families whose primary breadwinners had lost their jobs. The distributed items included rice, posho, salt, soap, and beef.
Kind note: Each family received a complete package, and the joy and gratitude expressed by the recipients were truly heartwarming.

7. BIBLE DONATION
By the abundant grace of God, a total of 827 Bibles were received from three different sources and distributed accordingly.
- A donation of 61 Kinandi Bibles was made to pastors serving in the mountainous regions of Kasese. Additionally, Bibles were distributed to 21 churches across various denominations, including Baptist, Pentecostal, and Anglican congregations.
- From Gideons International, we received 600 New Testament Bibles and 50 complete Bibles, which were donated to Mbarara Main Prison and Isingiro Prison.
- An additional 116 Bibles were generously provided by Steve Happ and are currently being distributed to churches and new converts.

8. HOSPITAL VISITS
A visit was made to Bwera Hospital, where ministry was carried out among patients experiencing both physical and spiritual challenges.
The hospital hosts a wide range of individuals, including those battling chronic illnesses and others in critical condition who are in need of divine intervention. During the outreach, approximately 300 people were reached, including those in the children’s ward, and around 280 gave their lives to Jesus Christ.
9. GOLDEN CARE SCHOOL
A Primary Three class was successfully introduced, and pupils are learning. We are grateful to report that two additional pupils have been included among the sponsored children. This development follows a mutual agreement between the Directors of Christian Model Ministries (CMM) and Golden Care School to extend support to two more underprivileged children, enabling them to access quality education.
The sponsored pupils have shown commendable dedication to their studies, with the majority achieving Division One results, which is a truly impressive performance. For the few who are still adjusting, there is optimism that they will catch up with their peers.
Additionally, the school management has recruited a male teacher specifically to support the newly established Primary Three class.
10. MINISTRY IN KARAMOJA
Christian Model Ministries (CMM) visited Worship Harvest Church in Kiremeezi, pastored by Bbumba Joshua, during a children’s camp where we were invited to minister to the children. The program featured Bible teaching, praise and worship, testimonies, colouring activities, and games; all aimed at nurturing children’s spiritual growth and engagement.

11. THE CHURCH BASED TRAINING IN BIBLICAL STUDIES ( C-TBS )
The C-TBS classes held at Uganda Polymath Training Institute and the Searchlight of God Church are currently studying the Book of Acts. Mukono Deliverance Church is currently learning from the book of Colossians, and we continue to receive very positive and encouraging feedback from the ministers.
As the ministers deepen their understanding and apply the principles of Bible observation and interpretation, they are learning and implementing much more. Many are sharing testimonies of restored relationships within their families, workplaces, and churches.
Those involved in preaching and teaching ministries have expressed how the C-TBS program has greatly simplified and strengthened their ministry efforts.
Below is a picture of Elder Senkumba Davis teaching the book of Colossians at one of the classes at Mukono Deliverance Church.
We sincerely thank all our friends and partners for your prayers, encouragement, and unwavering support for the various CMM ministries mentioned above. Your partnership means so much to us, and we deeply appreciate your commitment.
