March 2026

Dear friends,

Greetings to you all in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Below are some key highlights of the activities and developments within CMM during this period.

PRISON MINISTRY

CMM conducted outreach visits to the prisons in Nyabirongo, Mbarara, Bwera, and Lake Katwe. During these engagements, both men and women were ministered to through the sharing of the Gospel, with a particular emphasis on forgiveness and living a Godly life. As a result, many of the prisoners responded positively to the message by choosing to forgive those who had wronged them.

Additionally, one of the inmates, Tumwebaze Geofrey, was released. He was an active participant in our fellowship gatherings for three years. He had been convicted in 2012 and served his sentence across several prisons before his release on 11th March 2026. Upon release, CMM offered support by providing him with a fully equipped sewing machine, along with UGX 50,000 to assist with his journey home and help him begin rebuilding his livelihood.

CHILDREN MINISTRY

Outreaches were conducted at Hamukungu Christian Primary School and other schools in Western Uganda, where the Gospel was shared with the children. As the Gospel was preached, invitations were given to those who desired to accept and follow Christ. Many confessed Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour.

YOUTH MINISTRY

CMM organised and hosted a youth seminar in Bushenyi, Uganda Technical Institute, Kahaya, which brought together approximately 270 youth from across Western Uganda. During the seminar, the Gospel was shared, leading many participants to commit their lives to Christ, while others were encouraged and renewed in their faith.

Additionally, we also conducted ministry visits to schools, reaching both boys and girls with the Gospel while providing guidance toward discipleship and mentorship. These engagements have helped lay a strong foundation for young people to grow in their faith and remain committed to God.

WOMEN MINISTRY

A fellowship started in Western Uganda as part of ongoing efforts to further advance the Gospel across the region. About 30 women gathered for fellowship and teaching, creating a strong foundation for continued spiritual growth. Through their active participation, the message of the Gospel is extending beyond the fellowship, reaching their children and other members of their households.

EVANGELISM AT THE LAKE SHORES

During our outreach at Hamukungu Landing Site, the Gospel was preached to the community, and 11 people gave their lives to Christ. Pastor Isaac, the resident pastor, is providing ongoing pastoral care and discipleship to support their spiritual growth.

ONLINE FELLOWSHIP

CMM hosted an online outreach that drew over 278 participants. As a result, 49 individuals committed their lives to Christ, while 20 others renewed their faith through repentance, reflecting a spiritual impact among the attendees.

SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHERS’ TRAINING

CMM trained Sunday school teachers at Kisugu–Namuwongo Divine Shield Church in partnership with local churches, sharing the vision of advancing God’s Kingdom. The training covered nurturing children as they learn to pray, guiding them to pray for national matters, and helping them understand family and community so they are grounded in the Word. These Sunday school teachers were also encouraged to pray for and embrace children who are not yet in the Lord, trusting God to protect and guide them in their spiritual growth.

MINISTRY IN KARAMOJA

An outreach visit was conducted in the Karamoja region, beginning in Moroto. While there, we met with the children under our support, ensured their continued attendance in school, and facilitated the enrollment of four additional children into Primary One at Acherer Primary School. The team also travelled to Kotido, where we visited two of our supported students at Nakapelemoru Army Secondary School. In Kanawati village, further engagement led to the enrollment of five more children into Primary One at Kanawati Primary School. We look forward to seeing them grow in wisdom, character, and the knowledge of God.

THE CHURCH-BASED TRAINING IN BIBLICAL STUDIES (C-TBS)

We now have a strong teaching team of six men and two ladies. All of them are pastors and key church leaders of various churches. We have been working together for more than eight years. This is a team worth thanking god for. They each have a different but very good flavour approach in teaching various books. As the C-TBS leader, I have been so blessed working with such men and women in this ministry. As you continue to pray for the C-TBS programme, please remember to pray for this teaching team, as the Lord may lead you. And we thank you so much for your continued prayer, encouragement and support for Christian Model Ministries.

Thank you so much, our friends/co-workers, for praying for us, encouraging and supporting us in this work.

God bless,
CMM
