April 2026

Dear friends,

Greetings to you all in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Below are the key highlights of the activities and developments within CMM during this period.

PRISON MINISTRY

Continuous fellowship sessions were conducted at Nyabirongo and Bwera Prisons in Kasese District, which encouraged inmates to embrace repentance and faith in God despite their circumstances. As a result, many inmates learned how to pray independently. Some former inmates from Mbarara and Isingiro prisons who were released also reached out to express gratitude to God and appreciation for the renewed lives they are now able to enjoy with their families.

STREET EVANGELISM

Five homes were reached at Katunguru Landing Site in Kasese District through community ministry and evangelism. Through this, seven people gave their lives to Jesus Christ. Pastor Baguma is conducting follow-up and discipleship to help integrate them into the church fellowship.

YOUTH MINISTRY

Three students gave their lives to Christ as a result of the Gospel being shared at Alliance High School – Bwera. In Mbarara district, we met and held fellowships with the youths, shared the Word and encouraged one another in the Lord. We were also invited to the different seminars in the district, and we are grateful for the lives transformed and rejuvenated by the Gospel.

ONLINE FELLOWSHIP

CMM conducted online fellowships with consistent participation of over 50 attendees. The sessions provided opportunities for sharing testimonies and spreading the Gospel. In addition, a Millennium savings account was established to support young people facing challenges such as a lack of food, school fees, and other basic needs.

THE CHURCH-BASED TRAINING IN BIBLICAL STUDIES (C-TBS)

We are currently completing the study of the book of Leviticus. Our students have been encouraged mostly by looking at the Bible characters in the Pentateuch and learning from both their failures and successes. But currently, our main lesson in both classes has been reading through the whole book (survey method) in one setting and doing an exercise that the majority of our students have never attempted. Many are now talking about the challenge and advantages of being able to read through the whole long book in one sitting as a key lesson since we resumed the Old Testament studies this year. A change from putting a lot of emphasis on chapters and verses to concentrating and reading through the whole book in one sitting has been one of our outstanding lessons during this period, and our classes are getting more excited, and ministers are encouraged as we continue to study the book of the Pentateuch.

Thank you so much, our friends/co-workers, for praying for us, encouraging and supporting us in this work.

God bless,

CMM
