September 2026

Dear friends,

Greetings to you all in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Below are the key highlights of the activities and developments within CMM during this period.

Prison Ministry
A number of Inner Healing and Self-Discovery lessons were conducted in three prisons, ministering to 87 men at Kakiika Prison, 218 men at Mbarara Main Prison, and 355 men at Isingiro Prison. A total of 660 men were reached through the prison ministry. We also started the second phase of the Sweater Making Project at Mbarara Main Prison, with 50 men participating in the programme.

Children’s Ministry

We ministered to children at Signal Preparatory School through preaching, praise, and worship. Teachers reported positive changes among the pupils, who also actively participated in praise songs during the ministry visits. Children under our care, including sponsored children, were ministered to through prayer, encouragement, and guidance in their education and walk with Christ. The children were followed up on as they returned to school for the new term, with reports showing good academic progress.

Youth Ministry

Four youth seminars at Karugangama Church of Uganda, Kashenyi Church of Uganda, Rubeho Church of Uganda, and Katete Parish were conducted. We preached the Word of God, prayed with the young people, and encouraged them in their faith, education, leadership, and daily walk with Christ before they returned to school.

Online Fellowship

CMM continued holding online fellowships, bringing together over two hundred and fifty hundred young people for prayer, fellowship, encouragement, and the Word of God. The fellowship connected young people from different districts across Uganda and beyond, allowing us to continue ministering to them beyond the physical location.

Evangelism at the Seashores

Evangelistic work continued at the seashores of Hamukungu Landing Site. Several fishermen and families were ministered to, and the resident pastor also provided pastoral care and spiritual support to the fishermen at the landing site.

Widows Fellowship

Different widows were ministered to through fellowship and the Word of God, encouraging them to put their trust in the Lord and remain strengthened in their faith.

A 3-Day Outreach at Nawaka

CMM, in partnership with Miracle Centre, Najjanankumbi Church and local churches in Nawaka, including New Hope Baptist Church, conducted a three-day outreach in Nawaka Village, Luwuka District. The outreach team, coordinated by Mariam, carried out open-air and door-to-door evangelism, prayer, counselling, church services, and children’s ministry, with over 114 people receiving salvation. The team also distributed clothing, sugar, salt, soap, shoes, books, pencils, sanitary towels, and crayons, providing practical support to families and helping meet the educational needs of school-going children.

The Church-Based Training in Biblical Studies (C-TBS)

Both classes have completed First and Second Kings and are now studying the book of Jeremiah. We have always received very good and encouraging feedback from our students. The Inductive approach Bible study method has benefited them and their various churches. Komugisha Violet from Mukono class and an elder in her home church testified about how the course has simplified her work of preparing and delivering sermons in her church.
“It is so good to approach a subject with such Bible knowledge; you get that feeling of confidence and being more comfortable in preaching and teaching in the church.”

We thank God for the Bible training course that has impacted many churches and communities in Uganda. We also thank the Lord for all the other CMM ministries taking place in various regions and communities in Uganda.

Butalejja End of Year: Mega Mission

Christian Model Ministries, working together with local churches in Butalejja, will be conducting the above mission starting from 28th November 2026 to 1st January 2027. This programme is directed by Florence Wanaswa.

This year, the programme will involve:

  • Open-air Gospel meetings (Crusade)
  • Visiting and ministering in some local churches
  • Visiting and ministering in prisons
  • Praying and counselling individuals
  • Community joint prayer walks (spiritual warfare), and more.

As we look forward to this end-of-year mega mission, which has always been very fruitful, we are requesting all our friends to join us in preparation for this programme.
